2nd time C-Section mommas!!! Question :)

Okay so I have an 18 month old son whom I had a csection w/ due to the fact he was 10lbs 14oz .. I had a WONDERFUL experience with my 1st csection   I am due May 2nd with my daughter.. Same father for both of my children! My fiance was 10lbs 12oz when he was born.. I was a twin but I was pretty big for a twin 6lbs 13oz Each ultrasound I've had (just had 3rd tri ultrasound last Friday) said she's measuring right on time or just a few days behind (a week at the most) and my son always measured 2-4 weeks ahead. I am kinda nervous for this csection just more bcuz it hasnt even been 2 years since my last & surgery is just nerve wrecking.. How was it the 2nd or even 3rd time around for all you csection mommas?

My firat time was aweful but second was a breeze and they are two years and three weeks apart. My dd is 8 months and I just found out I'm pregnant again so hopefully this c-section will be just as easy.

My 1st csection I actually had a horrible experience....I was in labor for 23 hrs and got to 8 cm dilated!! My daughter was loosing her heartbeat at that moment so csection was my only choice. I didn't even hardly remember the first 2 weeks home,BUT 2 years later I had my son by csection as well and I knew what was going to happen and what to expect and I had a wonderful experience!!! I got my baby right away and I was up moving the same day and was all on my own the 2nd day with a newborn and 2 year old it was wonderful  

Reading these 2 posts makes me feel 10x better lol. I think it's just the whole reality is starting to sink in, kinda feeling! Oh & congrats on the pregnancy

My first time was rough, but that was because I was in labor for 19 1/2 hours before they decided to take him. My first was 9lb 5.8oz 22 in long (boy). That was July 10th 2007. Then we got pregnant again and had to have a csection again cause they were so close together. My 2nd csection was a piece of cake. I knew everything to expect. My second boy was 8lbs .2oz and 21 inches long. That was on July 2nd 2008. Now come Tuesday we will welcome our newest addition. Another boy. And they decided to do a csection for him as well. So this will make my third csection. And this time im more nervous only cause its been almost 5 years since my last one! But I have 6 days left and Im really excited about that! Good luck!
