Its just that I didnt know anyone that was BF, and I just had been through almost dying and almost loosing him I didnt want to chance it with a stranger. I dont know, if I could go back and redo it I might change my mind but Im not sure.

I donate with Human Milk Bank... it's been such a rewarding experience so far!

That's totally understandable! I had to do so muh research before I felt comfortable. I also asked my doctor how to be sure and get blood tests results before excepting milk.

  that is disheartening. Can you donate to a milk bank? I know it's hard to get certified that way

Nope, I have checked. There are so many rules and regs. Baby has to be under 6 months old, DS is 10 months. You have to have a complete screening BEFORE you pump any and mine is already pumped. We also don't have transport and our closest one is too far away for them to come and collect it

  that sucks! I hope someone can use it. I would cry if I had to dump it I will cry for you if you have to dump it

Just pour a little here and there in ur food and drinks if u dont like the taste. mix it with ur reg milk too

I donate to a milk bank. They accepted all my milk from when she born. They accept up until dd turns 1. They screen and do testing.I had no issues like that. U have to donate @ least 200 ounces and the milk cant be older than 5mths stored in adeep freezer,but other than that they took all milk. I have been donating since dec. and have to rescreened in June if I wanna keep donating until she is 1. MSG me if u r interested in the milk bank I use
