I have not but I wish you luck, I hope the pain is insignificant.

Valium and Xanax are not for pain, they won't give you that.

Ibuprophen is about all.

Best of luck to you

My sister got an abortion at this same place and they gave her xanax.
But she does have a anxiety disorder.

Thank you

I wouldn't do it with out the meds. It isn't solely for pain, but to help you not remember the procedure at all if you get the 'twilight' stuff.

I just had an abortion with no meds on Saturday and I'm glad I chose no meds....it was a bit uncomfortable but not terrible and is over quickly...plus, because I didn't take meds I got to leave quickly and drive myself home...I even met with girlfriends later and got a pedicure..I hate meds

Valium &/or xanax would be more to calm your nerves than help with pain. They will either put you in twilight or give a local on the cervix.

Good luck! I hope you have no pain at all!

They do offer that to you to reduce your anxiety and keep you calm. They call it twilight sedation...
