Thinking about baby shopping today..

posted 5th Mar
What should I buy?
I still have a ton to get. Right now all I have is clothes newborn-12 months, a few blankets, and the nose suction thing(I forget the name).
I have a little over $200 that I'm thinking needs to go to the baby.

Grooming kit, first aid kit, a lot of those thinner receiving blankets that come in a pack. They are better than burp cloths for catching spit up. Um, what else. Are you having a baby shower?

Lol I haven't started shopping yet.. With the exception of a new mattress because my son was using it for a week.
I'd start with using a 20% off coupon from BRU and buying something big, like bassinet/pack n play/swing

I didnt start shopping until I was about 33-35 week so you have some time ahead of you but maybe have a look at car seats, pram if you want one and and buy things for the bath

Carseat!!! Whatever you plan to have baby sleep in for the first few months. Wrap or carrier is much cheaper than a stroller and that's honestly better to use the first few months IMO aaaand a bathtub, although you can bathe a newborn in the sink so that could also wait til baby's here. For a newborn I think all you really NEED is clothes/blankets, boobs, somewhere to sleep and a way to carry them out in public.
I got so much stuff at my baby shower that was nice to have, but I didn't use much. And some I never used at all.
Oh, and the nasal sucker thing is a must have. I got one at the hospital when DS was born and its awesome.

Lol, I know.
I already know what car seat I am getting and I think it'll be more down the line. I'm thinking smaller things for now.

I'm just a little impatient. Where do you get those? Online? Or do they just have coupons there?

A Boppy pillow, but go to Marshalls or TJ Maxx, they have the same as BRU, but cheaper.

maybe a couple times at a grocery store so I don't think to look for them for baby items so thanks!

You're welcome! That's what we're doing this time since we only have a handful of items to this time, but all being bigger purchases. I'm going to get one thing a week with the 20% off .. It adds up!
