Quoting That one chick.:" I have NO idea but I had/have sleeping problems too to where I get about that much sleep also and my ... [snip!] ... and my Dr. prescribed me phenergen. It's suppose to be for anti nausea but it will knock you how for a good amount of time!"That don't work for me unless i take pain meds with it. N I try not to take psin meds. (Like hydrocodone)
Quoting ~mama~:" My doctors prescribed it to me for my boys"Ah. I am gonna ask her. And if she chews me out imma chew right back bc this is mine and my baby's health here.

Quoting ~mama~:" She probably wont, just tell her you need something to help you sleep and that you heard Ambien is ... [snip!] ... Ambien is safe during pregnancy... I knocked me right out and I took 1 a night for the last 2 months of my second pregnancy "Thanks. I'll deg bring it up to her. I just pray she does something. I'm tired of not sleeping.
Quoting That one chick.:" Really? Odd."Yep. I've had to take it so much that if I want it to knock me out I have to take something else with it.
Quoting Kay Peezy:" Have you tried taking benadryl or unisom? I have the same problem, which is obviously why I'm up at 4 ... [snip!] ... me ambien a couple months ago and I still only get 5-6 hrs of sleep a night. It's so frustrating, I feel your pain mama."
Quoting *~AngelEyes~*:" Benadryl has never really had much effect on me. And unisom?? I never thought of that."Yeah, my ob suggested it. It's pretty much the exact same thing as benadryl. Both used to knock me out but now nothing works. Ambien will work for a little while but you aren't supposed to take it every night because your body will get used to it.
Quoting *~AngelEyes~*:" Yep. I've had to take it so much that if I want it to knock me out I have to take something else with it. "
Quoting {tamz}:" An online search shows that it is prescribed often in pregnant women but is a category C drug. I think ... [snip!] ... the health of you and your child is more about the things you could do while on ambien. People can do some crazy things on it."
