re: does your LO's Dr know you cosleep?

Nope he doesn't know. A lot of my friends use him as well and they all said he asked them where the baby slept and that he is very against co-sleeping but he has never asked me. none of his business really.

My first pedi did and boy did she make a stink about it.

She and the nurses decided that there was absolutely no bonding happening and that I shouldn't call them when he suffocates from me sleeping on top of him. My 2nd child's pedi was korean and I could barely understand her. I didn't tell her much.
This babies pedi won't know anything that isn't their business.

Lol my DH sleeps on the couch now. He's a heavy sleeper and can't sleep without blankets so I don't trust him

Maybe if you and more like us, who realize that they need to co sleep would just be more open about it then it would help society and people like your sister learn that co sleeping is necessary for a lot of people.

I bet in her work she tells people not to do it all the time and they just lie to her to get her to shut up about not doing it LOL

Thankfully that isn't the case for her right now since she deals with pregnant women. Lol if she she was a peds nurse I'd hope people would lie to her about it because she can be a bitch.

Ecerytime I've taken DS for his check ups they ask how many hours he's sleeping and I just want to blab about how he's sleeping through the night now that I have him in bed with me and how wonderful it feels to sleep more than an hour at night. But I don't because I don't want to hear that the doctor is against it. I don't know her opinion about it though but I'd like to know. I honestly think she'd be all for it because she seems like the type that that would understand that moms need to sleep somehow

DS's wasn't happy about it, LO's doesn't care.

They are all pro foreskin around here but when we sent to TX to see the DH family I found out that its not the same in TX

Yep. There are very ignorant doctors around here. Have yet to find one that is completely knowledgeable. I've had to physically stop two different care providers from forcibly retracting my sons. It's ridiculous.

Mean while her youngest kid(who is 6) has asthma bad(like he is always coughing) because she smoked in the house around him since he was born.

Your MIL sounds like a real winner. Ask her if she thinks that stuff is disgusting, then maybe she should have hers chopped off. (Her prepuce) or is she not aware that women have foreskins as well? I hate stupidity.
