ADHD & medication

...... Got some stalkers so I have to delete everything

How old is she? From my experience an attitude issue isn't really fixable through medication.

Does she have an ADHD diagnosis. I would suggest seeing a behavior management therapist before just treating ADHD ( we did this first and really paid for since we were not treating all the issues even though we thought we were)

I don't think medication is the answer, but that's just me.

When you say live elsewhere, do you mean like boarding or military school??

She's 3. Yes she is young, she has been diagnosed by several doctors & shrinks on ADHD.

Ok I'm sorry you're having a hard time. Attitude to me is one thing, ADHD is another.

I would speak maybe to a nutritionist or something. Perhaps she has a food sensitivity or allergy you don't know about that is causing behavior problems. I know it's trendy, but really some kids are very sensitive to gluten, food dye, sugar, etc. . . you never know.

ADHD comes with behavior problems. Which is what I'm referring to.

I thought your child was older, like pre-teen.

I wish I had some advice. Counseling, obviously, if you guys can afford it. And you may have to go through a couple therapists before you find one LO can connect with.

I assumed you ment an older child. I hope you can get the help you need with therapy etc for her

She goes to therapies, none help. She does them the same way as she does me.

I should have mentioned - I have worked as a counselor with a special needs girl that was very ADHD and she took an omega supplement, called Omega Brights. they helped her mood and focus. She also took a bunch of multivitamins. She was also on a bunch of adderall (sp?) which after she took it she was crazy irritable and moody, and took her appetite. She did much better after backing off a bit on the heavy duty meds. I would avoid medication at all costs on such a wee one.
