I don't know, at 3 they're testing they're still learning and testing boundaries. I just don't think doping them up with speed is the answer.

She has split families & her dad won't do such a thing.
And I don't even know if a place around here has family therapies for her age.

Has child find started with her yet? At 3 yrs old te state usually takes over therapies and starts a developmental pre school. You can ask for an evaluation and they can offer you more resources

You can only control what happens in your own home unfortunately,
Family therapy can be just for you and your kids- any age. They could offer you patenting help re dealing with her behaviour or not letting it get to that point

It is really different for each person, and I'm not really a qualified medical professional, but I wanted to share my experience with you. I know that she was taking Omega Brights, which was an Omega 3 and 6 supplement. I know that good fats are really essential to brain development. Some other kids I worked with couldn't have gluten at all, or their behavior was difficult. I can't speak to your specific kid, but in my experience the most helpful things I've seen were getting lots of good fats and oils (but not the bad ones), eliminating wheat and gluten, and eliminating artificial dyes. I hope this helps somehow. I know it's not easy!

Oh yeah, family therapy is always an option, even if her dad can't or won't go.

She goes to a school just for special needs, they have therapies, councolirs (sp), but like I said they do them the same way she does me. She has gotten notes home on her bad behavior.

Then you are going to need more help. Just make sure before they treat they give a formal eval. That is honestly just from experience. That is best for your child.

None of her doctors have prescribed her anything? My son was diagnosed at 5, I know they say any younger than that is hard to diagnose but obviously some kids are diagnosed that young. I have my son on medication, he is on 40mg Vyvance (stimulant) once a day and 2mg Kapvay (non stimulant) twice a day. He has been on these meds since being diagnosed and you can absolutely tell the difference on and off meds as far as his behavior is concerned. My son has literally stayed awake (not one second of sleep) for over 48 hours multiple times without his meds. His ADHD is pretty bad but overall he is a good kid. Does your daughter sleep well? Has she ever been put on anything to help with her ADHD since being diagnosed?

She was prescribed clondine for sleep & her dr said it would have a effect on her behavior but it hasn't helped.

She will not sleep without it
