Well I told them what had been going on and all the smurf he has done I never out right said "hey I am in an abusive relationship.". And I told then I wanted to leave but had 3 kids Dh wouldn't let me work or give me access to the money. I had no one to take me in either and they said "well we can offer you marriage counselling if you husband would be willing to come with you". I told them I have tried that before and it never happens even if he agrees and they just told me they were sorry but to try talking to him again about it. 

That's bullsmurf  ...you haven't called other churches?

Doesn't him starving you (and at the same time your baby) class as a danger to your life? It's neglect which is physical abuse.

I've saw you post a few times about your husband, he seems like a control freak and he knows he has you stuck right now. Sounds crazy but what about a long term plan? Try get back on his good side, smile and pretend you are happy but when he starts giving money again and helping out try your damnedest to put a little aside each time until you have enough to help you out if he turns or maybe get you out of there? I'd be on to DDs father for that maintance money use that also.

I do feel for you, but if that was me I would steal to make sure I had milk to feed my baby. Your children will grow up to think this is " normal " and their children will too. There has to be a friend or someone close by you can stay with. You have to believe in yourself, sounds like this man has took all the fight out of you. You don't want your children visiting you in a coma if this goes to far. An ex of mine played mind games so I know it is hard to think that you can't get out and do your own thing.

And that is what pisses me off....no one should be judging this situation especially because they don't know what's going on. i know what it feels like to be you and it sucks. i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Honestly I wish I could help you at all because no one even offered that for me. If I could I really would. If you want to pm me you can.

No there doesn't "have to be someone" she can stay with. I'm sure she would stay with someone already if that were an option. Some people seriously have no options. The womens and childrens shelters need to be handled better if you ask me because every single one I have ever called were full or couldn't help me at all. and I was being physically abused as well as mentally.

It sounds like you are making excuses to me! I am not trying to be rude, I really am not. I wish I could help you in so many ways, but there are ways you can help yourself, there are places to go that will help you other then the ONE shelter you called.

I've read a few if your posts about him, just wanna say sorry you have to deal with that :-( you'll get tired of putting up with it and hopefully you can find someone who appreciates and thinks of you!
