Horrible breath!!!!!

My son had his tonsils and adenoids removed a week ago. And his breath smells horrible. They told me it would smell bad while it's healing but omg. It's BAD. I left a message with his ENT but they didn't get back to me today. How long do I have to wait to brush his teeth? It's not on his paperwork either. They told me NOT to brush them before we were discharged but didn't tell me how long. And with all the stuff going on I forgot to ask. I think he's healed up enough but I don't want to do any damage. They said it could take up to 2 weeks to heal completely.

I would think you are safe to do at the very least a water brush. Probably avoid the toothpaste but I would say a rinse with water and a light brush at this point should be fine.

K. I'll give it a try. I'm hoping to hear from them tomorrow cuz it really is bad. Especially with my pregnancy nose.
