So, I am now in my 5th week of pregnancy (: I was thinking about purchasing an Intelligender test at around 9-10 weeks.

Are those accurate? I'm really curious if it would be worth the $30+ dollars to purchase one.

They're just for fun

They are just for fun. It has a 50/50 chance of being right either way.

I did them with my last 2 pregnancies... they were right for both of them, wrong for my sister tho lol

For fun, sure! I wouldn't go out and buy pink or blue based on the results though.

Between friends and family I've seen them used 7 times and were right every time. So idk but seems like its worth it to me.

If it's just for fun, sure. But if you're relying on it to decide nursery colour schemes and onesie colours I wouldn't lol

any pre 16-18 wk test has the same chances.

only full proof, which isnt always full proof, is ultrasound at the 18 wk time.

I mean, I have heard they've been right for some people & wrong for some people.

It's a fun thing to do if you have $50 bucks to blow. I did one my last pregnancy and it was right.

According to the website they are supposed to be 85% accurate with girl results being more accurate than boy results.

Seriously. Not worth $30. It has no way of telling for sure.

I would suggest you wait the few extra weeks and spend that money on your baby. My girlfriend and I both decided not to use them because they are not guaranteed and they are so pricey. We saved the money and spent on our precious babies!

yeah they aren't very accurate they are pretty much just for fun if you have the extra money, mine told me boy & I had a girl (:
