Laundry soap. Cloth diapers.

If you make your own cloth diaper laundry soap what do you use? Where I live I cant buy washing soda, its not sold close to me. lol I have heard not to use and to use it etc....So what do you use if its homemade, also if you are in Canada what store bought stuff have you used? I see tide free can be used (some say yes some say no) lol

I use Charlie's laundry soap for my cloth pads. I buy it off amazon so you can probably get.it shipped to Canada

I use Ecos with a vinegar rinse

I dont buy offline, lol I want to make my own, but where I live they dont sell washing soda at all. lol I really need a way to do this with a homemade soap. But like I said everywhere I read says something different, like its ok to use this then the next diaper site says its not. grrrr

You can make washing soda from baking soda. Just put it evenly in a baking dish or cookie sheet & then pop it in the oven on 350-400. Stir it around occasionally to make it change faster. Do that for around an hour. You don't have to stir it but in the end you will have washing soda!
