I would probably be super upset about her getting pregnant so young (or getting a girl pregnant so young) but honestly- if she is keeping the baby and being a parent, why shouldn't I give her a shower? She will never experience having her first child ever again, and I'm sure she, the father, and all the grandparents would be thankful for the gifts and help.
Sure most of us would be upset but why then ruin the experience and treat her like that if you're going to support her anyway? Although not ideal I would want her to look back and not have awful memories of her first pregnancy, no matter her age.
Do you make her feel like smurf the whole of her pregnancy? Teen or not she would soon become a parent and I would personally choose to support her.
