Migraine and brown thick discharge with occasional small clo

Posting this in aid of a good friend who is worried and confused

She is 8 and a half months pregnant and today she woke up with a very bad headache, she took some tablets which didn't do anything, then gradually she started to feel very sick threw up a few times headache continued as did the sickness then head ache gradually got better but still remained with a nausea feeling then she felt something coming out down there felt down and had thick discharge which was brown in color with a small clot, the discharge keeps coming out so much so that shes had to put a pad in her knickers
Could this mean anything?
