36 week appointment

Are they probably going to check for dialation and effacement? I'm 36w4d and have an appt in an hour.

My ob only does group b strep test but won't do an actual cervical exam until I'm at least 40 weeks. Something about not giving false hope? Every doctor is different though.

My doc checks me starting at 36 weeks but that's because of my history of preterm labor.
