"sweet" vag? TMI!

since i was about 6mo i have noticed when i have discharge it smells sweet. no, i'm not smelling my panties or the toilet paper lmao but it was strong enough as to when i went pee i could smell it.

now it smells like that all the time, whether i have a noticeable amount of discharge or not. i have asked random friends/family that have been pregnant + googled and everything i get is that it could be protein in my urine or amniotic fluid. i plan on asking my ob about it next tues, but just wanted to see from other people if they had this and what they were told it was from.

happened to me during pregnancy and I recall the OB telling me it was protein in my urine. But I believe it can also be indicative of some type of infection…I just can't remember if its UTI or yeast….

My discharge smells "sweeter" during pregnancy. Nothing has ever been wrong with me. lol. But it would be a good thing to ask about.

i also came across that, it could indicate an infection. i don't have any signs of both besides the scent obviously. hopefully it's not.

I always smell sweeter during pregnancy..never because of anything being wrong though lol

I thought I was the only one who had this. I'm almost 18 weeks, and I've had the "sweet" smell when I use the bathroom since around 10 weeks. Nothing ever was wrong with me, so far, the smell has become less strong in the last couple of weeks. Let us know what you find out.

I had pre e with my son and this is what happened then ...
It started again a couple weeks ago when I see my OB next week first thing I am asking about is checking my protien just because for me its a better indicator than BP since for me that wont happen till last min when its too late
