how long is encapsulated placenta good for if refridgerated

posted 4th Mar
Ive had mine for a year and I was wondering if it would still be good, it doesnt have a foul odor. It smells the same and Ive had them in a pill bottle encapsulated.
Im having a really bad period and I dont see why not if it could lighten my flow, or ease the cramps naturally.

Totally clueless here so I'm just going to ask...what are you saving the placenta for? I didnt know that was something that people could do...

People can pay for them to be in pill form. It helps put nutrients back into you after delivery and it VERY good for you.

A lot of animals eat their own placenta.

You could also plant it with a tree and it is a GREAT fertilizer.

It is one of the best things you could do after childbirth, it's just not a widely known practice. It contains so many good vitamins, nutrients and hormones. It has immense healing properties, has chemicals that promote bonding between Mother and baby. I could go on, it's really something you should look into.

OP, I have no idea how long it's good for, though.

I sort of invisioned a placenta being delivered in like a sac and being saved in the fridge...I was really clueless.

Sorry I have no advice to offer here, but when I see things that I really have no clue about, I always have to ask.

It is essentially eating it. In pill form.

And obviously it's the placenta from her own body, from her child.

I know it was the other poster, that's why I put a few spaces between the sentences. And yeah, people have been doing it in Asian countries for hundreds of years.
