38 weeks and 3cm dilated

I'm hoping for an all natural birth because my last was an induction. It went fine but I still want to experience the real thing.
I'm thinking at my 39 week appointment to ask about getting the membrane sweep. I know it only works If your body is ready, but since I am 3-4 cm dilated, do you think it will be apt to work? I just really want to stay away from being induced again. I know I have until 42 weeks.

It didn't work for me   and I was dilated to a 4 when they did it,.. I was dilated to a 4 for over a month and still went a week over due

Well poo. I guess just alot of unwanted sex for me then! lol

Yea it works great for some people just not all lol and I had a lot of sex lol when I got to the hospital I was already dilated to a 6 and was in labor only 3 hours so being over do was almost worth it lol

Gave me contractions both times & no baby. Lol I was at 4 for weeks with both.
