Circumcision question

Is it possible for a man to have a circumcised penis that looks like it isn't?
I've been thinking about this off and on for a while.
SO says he is circumcised, but he doesn't look like he is. I actually mentioned that I thought it was neat he wasn't circumcised and he was like, "......but I am....."
Is there a type of circumcision that makes the penis look uncircumcised? If so, why even circumcise if you can't tell?

i am thinking that might mean a bad circumcision job

My ex was circ'd but looked like he wasn't. He wasn't as a baby but was in a serious bike accident when he was 10 and ripped down there so he had to have it done  

I'm not sure but maybe it wasn't all taken?
Can it grow back?

I've heard of it not healing right and it can look like an uncircumcised penis.

when they circumcised my youngest (i regret having it done now) they didnt take enough skin and really did a bad job with it so it doesnt look like it was ever done now...well besides the puffy scars all around the top

Owwwww. Lord that made me cringe.

Sometimes excess skin can be left on the penis after the circumcision, unintentionally. So he would technically be "circumcised", but they didn't remove as much skin as is typically removed when a man is circumcised.

That could explain it.

My son was cut but it doesn't look like it because they didn't remove all the skin.
