re: Teen Dads?

My son's father and I broke up when my son was about 2-3 months old.
But, we are still friends, and spend time together with, or without our little one.

He's an okay dad. Except for ... well help with money for the baby.

My step brother was 16 when he got his girlfriend pregnant (she was 15 at the time). They are now expecting their second child & getting married a couple of months.

DH was 19 when we had our first. He is still around (of course) and we're having baby #4. It was hard when we were still figuring out the "us" stage and being teen parents, but made it through everything and on the 26th of this month celebrating 8 yrs together! Good Luck

I found out I was pregnant with my son when I was 17 and he never left my side=] We were together over 6 years and just recently broke things off. He still sees our son daily and has him sleep over every other night with him. We have a great relationship and still do "family" activities at least once a month. "Teen" dads can do it if they want too=]

Im 17, had my gorgeous boy at 16, fell pregnant at 15. Me and my partner have been together 2 and half years and still going stong, our son is 7 months and i love them both millions   not lying, when baby was born, babys dad started to be a bit of a dick, went out partying ect, but he soon realised what he would have lost and now we're a happy little family

i was with my boyfriend for three months before i found out i was pregnant. everyone told me he would leave me, even his mom thought he would. he is still here with me. we have been together a year and a half and we are now married. it is very hard for us, and we fight like hell. he a complete dick and i can be a big bitch, but it's the love that keeps you guys going.

If your BD stays, expect things to get hard. and if he leaves, you are going to be upset but it means he wasnt ready and just cant take on the kind of responsibility. good luck momma and congrats.

I don't see my baby's father going anywhere & I'm pretty mean sometimes, lol. I act so bipolar sometimes, then others I have like major OCD, then others I'm all depressed. But he knows exactly what to do to make me smile. (: Well actually, he doesn't even have to purposely do anything & I'll just get that huge stupid smile on my face, lol. But anyways, around my town, I don't think many girls are with their baby's father, but then again a lot of these girls act like major hoes. Then you got the girls saying "oh my babydaddy ain't smurf! I can do it all on my own! I'm grown!" Yeah, you sound real grown with that statement. Lol. But I can see me & my baby's father staying together for a longggg time. (:

Oh and one other random question. If he does stay around will the baby have his last name or mine? I've seen girls have babies and the baby takes the dad's last name but others tell me you have to be married

This kid won't have either of our last names. You can name your kid whatever you want.

My baby will be having his dad's last name. Do whatever you want. BUT, if my boyfriend was still using k2 to get over his brother's death, we probably wouldn't be together and my baby probably wouldn't be taking his last name either.

I've been in an on-and-off-again relationship with my son's father since I was 12.
Found out I was pregnant and had my son when I was 16. We're now expecting baby #2 this November, and our relationship is stronger than its ever been! We share a home together, get along great, and plan on being with each other for a very long time to come. There's hope for all relationships if BOTH people are willing to try to make it work.

DS father & I split when DS was 5 months old.. I have been with my now husband ever since he was 6 months old! It all works out good we all get along great
