abreviations

What do all these abreviations mean ( dont know if I spelled that right)
SO? DH? DD? I see all these women using them in their post?

SO- special one/significant other
DH- dear husband
DD/DS- dear daughter/dear son
FIL/MIL/SIL/BIL- father/mother/sister/brother in law

'm not sure how to post links, but in 'everything else' under FAQs there is a thread or maybe two that has all of these listed.

Why dont they just say the word instead of putting dear in front of it. Or say bf lol.

Cause they don't? People say bf for best friend as well, so it gets confusing. And it's easier to just type dh or something rather than type it out.

BF is also breast feeding, it is also quicker to type with less errors when typing. You will get used to it, I caught on really fast. And I am THE most computer illeterate lol.

I forgot breast feeding   I put EBF most the time so it slipped my mind lol
