Same as the way they insert the Mirena's, its not a lot of pain, just a slight cramp or two. It's done in no time. Well worth it.

Are those clips probably the bands they were talking about? Basically clamp off the tubes instead of cutting them? I heard it was like little rubber-bands, but I could be wrong.

Im wondering if they will do my tubes when I'm in the hospital with LO or do they make you wait 6 weeks? Id' rather get it all done at once! I know they do it with C-sections but I'm expecting a vaginal birth.

I think I may talk to my Dr. about it. The depo also caused my friend's mom to get cervical cancer, something I had come up on a pap (HPV) and I different don't want it and since I had my DD, I haven't stopped completely from bleeding and its annoying. Same thing happened with my DS, I bleed from the time I had in(June200  until April of 2009.. ): And I was super skinny. 5'3 and weighing 89lbs.. Yeah, I looked unhealthy..

I never did the mirena and I'm kinda a big baby when it comes to certain things but I didn't cry giving birth to my DS or DD. Nor did I get the Epidural either... (But don't get me wrong, it hurt like h3ll.)

They do banding. This is what the filshie chip looks like. And I have one ovary so they will clip just one side. Im very ready and excited! I want NO more kids. lol.

The clip is the least painful recovery and eventually the skin falls away and prevents pregnancy forever. You know all that stuff. lol

Its nothing like giving birth hun! Its take 2 tylenol before and go on in and do it. So worth it! Esp if you dont want more kids for years and or cant afford ATM to get your tubes tied. They say the downside to Paragard is heavier and longer periods... but it thats all, Im good! I just had my first period on it and I only have extra cramping some. Not bad at all.

Ohk. Thanks, I'll def have to talk to my Dr. about it because I don't want no more kids. Now, the period part, kinda sounds like it sucks and on my period, I never had cramps..

Yes, talk to your doctor. The cramps arent anything bad. Look at it in the longrun...you have no more hormones in your body. Don't do the Mirena, they will try to talk you into it. But, it wasnt a great experience for me. And there are lawsuits everywhere on that company. Not good.

I had the depo shot at first but it was TERRIBLE for me. Now I'm on the pill and it works fine for me although I recently stopped after my last pack because we're going to be TTC soon.

I've also never had an issue with remembering to take them. I forgot once, doubled it once I realized it and omg it made me so sick lol never forgot again.  

I thought about doing the pill but I forget easy..
