breastfeeding

So I'm breast feeding and about a week ago I notice a red bump on my left boob. It doesn't hurt. It is a lil sore when I nurse. I don't think that it is mastitis, it doesn't get hot or anything and isn't really big. What else could it be. I am calling my doc in the morning!

It might just be a zit, or even a bug bite

I was going to say a milk blister, but they are not generally red and also I don't know if you mean it is on your nipple or your actual breast tissue. I guess it might be a clogged duct but I would keep an eye on it and see if you develop a fever, you don't want it to turn into mastitis.

No its not on the nipple a couple inches away from my areola.

It was the start of mastitis. I caught it early. He gave me antibotic for it. Thanks ladies!
