blood loss and meds

I posted earlier because I was concerned about how much I was bleeding. I called my Dr and she said it sounds like my period. I tried to explain to her that I've never bled this bad after my first two pregnancies. Earlier, I even bled through the giant 2ft long pad they give u in the hospital. Thankfully I still have several of those. I feel like I have a hangover this mornin. Headache, shakiness... literally like I have a hangover even though I haven't drank anything. She said she was gonna call in some meds that should help.... I just hope it works! I'm a single mom at home alone with my 4yo and newborn at the moment and I can't be passing out or something with them here :-/

You are probably anemic from all the bleeding. Are you still taking your prenatals, because those will help with your iron levels. Those pills will help, I can't remember what they are called, but I know they do work well. I did not have this problem after my daughter, but this excessive bleeding can happen with endometriosis (sp).

ugg i do that smurf just about every peroid. i take prenatals and drink sugary stuff. it helps some. if you actually hemmorage go to the er incase they ffrgot some placenta or something.

No I haven't been taking my prenatals. I don't ever think to take anything here lately lol I do need to take them though. I just wanna stop bleeding so damn bad. At this rate, I can't go anywhere and I have LOs one month check up on Tues. Hopefully its better by then!

They say If you bleed thru a pad in 2 hrs or less go to the hospital.
