Hello! This is my first post here. My name is Taylor. This is my first time ever being pregnant and I am due to meet my daughter May 20th. I basically have no friends right now that I can relate to in any way what so ever. With that being said, I would like some friends to talk to possibly? (:

A little bit about my story..
I found out I was pregnant at around a month into my pregnancy. In the beginning, I felt like her father cared more about drugs & partying than being a father, that he was a lowlife & I gave up trying. He told me in the beginning he definitely would be there, said he loved her already & that he’d be a great dad.. But for a while he didn't speak to me or talk about his daughter. Well he claims he’s not using anymore, & honestly right now I have no reason to think he’s lying. I am 100% for him being involved. We will be naming our daughter Aubrey, not sure on the middle or last name just YET.. All in all, honestly, I could not be any more scared. So any advice you could offer me would be lovely.

My Due date with my daughter was May 20th. I had her 5/15/10 she will be 3 in May..
I'm not sure about advice to give you, i've never had to deal with anyone who was on drugs.. Just try to stay positive.

First of all, congrats, and welcome to BG.

It's a constant up hill battle, but do-able.
Are you still in school? If so, definitely finish.
If you drop out, it closes SO many doors that would be available to help better you and baby's life.

I have a question too! I want to get my tattoo finished, I just have black work.
I’m in my third trimester, & I've heard people say its fine to get tattoos, but other people have said it isn't. Does anyone know for sure?

No, don't get tatted while pregnant. There is a risk for infection.

My tattoo artist won’t tattoo pregnant women, but I didn’t know if it was because of it being dangerous or because of the pain. I’m just gonna wait until she’s born to get it! Thank you for your input (:

I've been actually going through the whole thing with the father and drugs and staying off of them. So I can be assistance through that whole ordeal. I am having my first baby (boy) on May 11th. So we are kind of close!

Welcome to BG & congratulations! I can relate to the part about having no friends. It sucks, but honestly it's a good thing. Getting pregnant definitely opens up your eyes to who your true friends are. You will meet lots of wonderful ladies on here. They give the best advice & there is always someone here who can relate to whatever situation you may be in. If you ever need someone to chat with, you can always PM me. (:
