Bleeding after csection

*possible TMI*
I had my DS 4 weeks ago, after about a week my bleeding would be light some days, heavy others, go from red to brown, then stop for a day or two and then come back a little.
A week ago, over a few days, I passed some stuff I can only describe as flesh of some sort, definitely not blood clots, grey flesh with some blood on it.
Ever since then, my bleeding has gone back to bright red, all day, everyday.
I change my pad at least every 2 hours, and it doesn't seem like it's going to stop anytime soon.
I also have been having really bad period like cramps on my right side only.
Does this sound normal?
My bleeding was always stopped by now after I had my other kids..

call your dr or go to er asap

Could be retained placenta. GO IN ASAP!!!

Ugh. I was hoping it wasn't that.
But I EBF and got the birth control shot in the hospital the day I had my son, so I figured it wasn't my period.
I'm gunna call and see if they want me to come.
