hcg trigger question/iui

My RE wants me to do my trigger 36 hrs before my iui which is scheduled at 11:30am on monday. I'm not sure if I want to though, because my Opks are not dark enough yet. I've been going in for follicle mointoring and had 3 follicles yesterday, but I guess there not ready yet? My opks are getting darker, and usually I O before my trigger but this time not. My RE said it was up to me if I wanted to do it or not, so IDK what to do?

What I was wondering was when your RE wanted you to do your tigger?

I want to say 12 or 24 hours prior

I would follow the protocol you probably have a good amount of follicles and having them monitor them will have a better understanding.. your body is on a ton of medication and I would not completely trust an OPK because of that specific reason.. Good luck. and you dont want to over do the meds to make them grow or you will have a bunch of bad follicles that will not fertilize
