Tubes tied/missing periods

I posted this in PP issues idk why. I guess I figured it was the best place. I had my tubes tied after Lilly, that was a year ago. Well about six months ago, my period was a week late and then it came. I guess it was resetting itself bc it was on that schedule until now (it comes anywhere between the 14-17 each month like clockwork.). Wel now...like I say it was due no later than the 17 and here it is March 2 and no period. Not even cramps. Nothing. I've tested just to rule it out, all negative. I've never gone this long unmedicated (read, on no BC). I've been on BC since I was 15. Do people sometimes just SKIP a period? Like is that something that happens? My last one in January was light compared to my normal ones (still a full 7 days but normally I bleed through pads left and right and so forth) and now my February one is missing. Is this just something that HAPPENS when you have your tubes tied?

I missed mine in jan and it came back in feb and i was on it for two and a half weeks! I don't know it it's from having my tubes tied or because I have pcos but I've missed two periods in the last yr since having them tied

There are people that miss periods just not on BC all the time.
It could just be that your body is used to the extra hormones, and can't regulate.

So...its normal then? I was seriously debating on getting on maybe a lo dose pill for regulation but if its decently normal i might wait it out a little longer

Are you especially stressed out?

I had my tubes tied in Sept of 2010 and I haven't missed any of my cycles

I have been incredibly stressed out lately but it's getting better. School has been smurfing me in the ass. Will that really do it?

absolutely!

we were in the process of living with my parents and trying to buy a house for 8 months and I had not one period from the stress. As soon as it was confirmed we were moving out I started bleeding. No joke lol

Dang. Maybe that's it then. No kidding school has been kicking my ass and I've been having those "Omg if I can't even understand THIS how am I supposed to teach Special Education to small children??" thoughts lol
