Things needed for crib?

So other than the crib what are the bedding things needed for newborn? just a mattress ? oh and also bumpers are safe?

A fitted sheet. Maybe a mobile? I can remember seeing mesh bumper pads at Walmart, they would prevent LO from suffocating.

Another pad would be a waste. Mattresses are plastic anyways

The other pad may have been to escalade the mattress. All you need is a fitted sheet. And a mattress of course.
