i hope this doesn't go to the drama corner.   it's pretty simple poll. when did you get your LO(s) ears pierced? anyone have boys with pierced ears? when did you get theirs done?

DD1 was 2, and DD2 was 1.

DS doesn't have his and until he is teenager I don't think I would let him.

I voted until they asked because that is my plan for my baby girl..

A friend of mine on FB got her sons ears pierced at around 8ish months. He looks like a girl now. Lol

My daughters were 8 weeks.

a girl i went to highschool with has a son. idk when she got them done but i saw him around 18 months and they were pierced. i just can't see doing that. it's VERY different for boys

my parents got my ears pierced at like 9weeks...my LO will be a year old on 3/27 and i still haven't gotten her ears pierced..we were thinking about doing it for her birthday though.

Yeah..I figured once he is a teenager if he wants it done he can do it, but idk about any earlier. Of course idk what DH opinion is on it. We already agreed on baby girl deciding when but it has never come up about DS. DH has one of his done but doesn't wear anything in it. He will pop an earring in maybe once every couple months to see if it closed lol

Little boys with pierced ears look tacky as hell

I think earrings on infants/toddlers look tacky. Even more if on a boy.

I wouldnt get DS.

If I had a daughter, I would use it as a suck-up tool. She would have to be above 8, responsible, behaved, and have As and Bs all school year.

I completely agree.

6 months. My son doesn't have his pierced but he can get them done when he's a teenager if he wants.

My daughter asked for them.

She's 5.

I said ok.
