When to say I LOVE YOU !?

So im in a new-ish relationship which is very different to my previous one as we were young. I'm just wondering when is a good amount of time being together to say it? And if to wait for him to say it? It's been 5months now, but im thinking it might take a good year for it to come up.
I feel silly asking but im worried how long is too long to wait

  this...lol. SO and I said it realllllly early..like we moved in together after 2 weeks   We knew this was it though lol..been together now for almost 4 years, got married Nov '11.

My boyfriend said it like 2 days after we started dating...but we'd been really close friends for almost a year.
I said it like a month and a half into the relationship.

Same for me. He told me he loved me and could see himself married to me 2 weeks after we started dating. We have been pretty much inseperatable since then, although it took me longer to feel the same way. We have been married for almost 3 years now with baby number 2 going to show anytime. When it is right, it is right

A. Because it can later be used as a cop out. Example: Oh I just said it because I was "in the moment".

B. Because he might wonder if you just said it in the moment lol.

Dont get me wrong, telling someone you love them during sex is great, but I wouldnt say it for the first time during or after sex.

Dh told me 2 weeks in to dating we were 14 I waited a few more months. He also told me he was going to marry me at 14. I knew he was the one.

It all depends on the relationship and the person. I told my DH that I loved him after we had been dating for like 3 weeks. Then had to wait another 2 weeks for him to say it back. Drove me crazy. We've now been together for 3 years and married for 1.5 years.

Took DH 2 weeks and me 6 months, we were 16
