After I shower I put it on a cotton ball and wipe it on.
It's awesome stuff. I put it on pads and froze them for after birth. It helps with swelling.
If it is the same type of scrub I've tried, it has walnut shells in it. I had a major breakout after using it. Turns out I'm allergic to the walnuts. Perhaps you have an allergy as well?
You could try a honey mask. Just put some honey on your face for like 20 minutes before bed, wash it off, and it will help heal your skin faster as well as tone down the breakouts. Honey is a natural healer.
Only use the scrub once, maybe twice, a week. Using it every day is damaging to your skin, strips it of the good oils, and can make your breakouts worse.
If you have dry skin just wash your face every other day, that's what I have to do otherwise my skin breaks out. Also, don't use the scrub and regular face wash in the same day - you only need one.
Coconut oil! Its anibacterial, antifungal, antiviral...
It may sound weird to fight oil with oil, but the oil binds with the bad oil to cleanse the skin. Ive got my hubby using it and hes horrible at be consistant with things if he doesnt get results quick enough. He comes TO ME with the jar to get his back.
I was getting horrible acne like that all over my back, face, & chest. My doctor prescribed me Clindamycin. Its a lotion you put on twice a day & it has worked miracles fer me i hardly have anything anymore. Its also safe for pregnancy.
