potty training boys

is hard. lol.
My son thinks underwear is like diapers. cant use those. cant let him run around naked (roommates). If he does run around naked he will go potty in the toilet, but I don't want that to be the only way he does it as most places he has to wear clothes. lol.
trying a new technique today. When we had our pool, I let him play in it without a diaper, just a shirt and shorts on. he took off his shorts and stepped away from them, peed on the grass and put his shorts back on.
So I am hoping he will do that again. but not pee on the floor of course. lol.
what different ways did you use to get your LO to use the toilet?

Mine just takes his penis out of the top of his pants and tries several times. He has been making it every other day ish. He's 28 months.

lol I wouldnt trust my son to point and shoot. haha. he sits on the potty for now.
my son is 33 months.

Idk why mine started doing it that way but it was his idea lol
