Definitely mittens for baby but I ended up just using socks cuz they were harder to get off. Lol. And my hospital food was pretty good actually. I used the disposable underwear from the hospital, they were great.

the big overnight extra absorbency pads. I brought my own diapers and wipes because they dont give us nb diapers, they do size 1 and they were huge on my babies. a pacifier for the baby if they like to soothe by sucking. nursing bra and pads. a pillow and blanket for whoever you have staying the night with you.

My mom is finalllly taking me shopping either tomorrow or Monday though!!!!
(she didn't get me anything for my baby shower && now just getting all the little things I still need!)

I'm packing sports bras(2 just in case I leak all over one or I'm there longer than expected) underwear..only 1 pair because they send you home with those amazing mesh panties, tooth brush, tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, shower puff thing, a loose shirt and a pair of long lounge pants..DH has pretty much the same thing and for her we're bringing pacifiers, booties, mittens, either pajamas or a onesie and some long pants...oh and a beanie...a blanket but it'll be March/April when I have her so it won't be that cold and what she'll be wearing will be warm enough..

are you only taking lounge pants, no night gown???
I was gonna only take yoga pants (since I would have to go buy a night gown just for this) but people said i'm not gonna wear pants????? so im kinda undecided about that stilll

I brought 2 pairs of sweats/yoga pants and didn't regret it. I was there for almost 4 days (DS kept losing weight, and they wanted to make sure he was okay) and the second they let me walk around and go to the bathroom by myself, I had my pants on. I still used the hospital gown because it was easier to nurse in than any of my shirts, but was so happy I brought the pants.
My only suggestion would be bring pants you wouldn't mind getting blood stains on. (embarrassing, but it happens)

yup, only lounge pants..I'm gonna be wearing a hospital gown until we leave and for the pants it's baggy, not too tight...you won't want to wear jeans or anything tight but pajama pants or lounge pants will do just fine because they're comfortable.
