Ultrasound at 4 weeks

Did anyone ever have one, and actually see something?

My Dr did one, because my last pregnancy was ectopic. He told me before he started that we probably wouldn't see anything, and he was right for the most part.

He did see what could be the start of a sac, though..but it's too early to tell.

I have to wait til Monday, and then I'm getting my levels tested again to make sure they are doubling.

I was told by my doctor that you usually can't see anything til five weeks, and even then it's usually just a sac and maybe a yolk sac. Don't worry momma  

A sac is all you'll see. You won't see a fetal pole until about 6 weeks.

This isn't my SIL's but hers looked exactly like this at her 4 week ultrasound:

my friend got a 4 week u/s and there was nothing there. they tried getting her to terminate the pregnancy bc it was "ectopic". luckily i got her to wait another month though bc the baby was visible in the uterus then. i couldn't believe they were so quick to terminate that soon.

I did. All you could see was a very very thick lining and a little white dot that looked like it could be the start of a sac. 10 days later we could see the sac and fetal pole. 12 days after that we sac our little bean with a strong hb. So dont worry. They tested my levels only twice and they were doubling every 44 hours so they saw no reason to continue testing.

My ultrasound only had the dark hole thing haha wtf is that?

it didn't have anything in it.

I'm hoping that is a good sign!

They were able to see my twins at roughly 5 weeks and I saw my first daughter @ around the same time. We weren't allowed to look @ the twins one bc it was in the ER

The dark hole is your uterus ;)

I had one at 5wks and all you seen was the sac. But now definitely a baby at 13wks

i had one at 3w6d with my last baby and all you could see was a teeny tiny black dot for a sac. came back 2 1/2 weeks later at 6w4d and the black dot just grew bigger, no fetal pole, no yolk sac. just the amniotic sac got bigger. i was sure id miscarry again. came back again at 8 weeks and finally saw the little guy with his heart beat flickering away

I'm a freaking idiot sometimes

my last pregnancy was ectopic as well, but at 4 weeks you don't really see anything on an ultrasound except maybe the start of a small sac, and thats only if your levels are over 1000 I was told by my gyn. This pregnancy I had bleeding at 5 weeks and 6 days they did an ultrasound and there was a little bean with a heart rate of 104. Don't stress mama! I'm sure everything is ok   I know it's scary especially with the risk of ectopic. Good Luck to you!
