hearing aid care question

posted 2nd Mar
What works best for cleaning wax off the ear molds? I clean them everyday but inside there is some buildup which causes staining. What are some tips and tricks from experienced moms? Usually I use soap, and let real hot water run through it. Currently they're soaking.

I know this is late(i rarely go on here anymore)..first whatever you do DO not put water to try to rinse it out...believe me, it just won;t work and it will cause humidity to build up. Did your kit come with a little brush thing or a air squeeze tool? ry those, if all fails bring it to the place where you got the hearing aids and they can get it out for you. My daughter gets build up all the time and I have to bring it to the place where she got it and the usually clean it out for us.

It did come with the brush and bulb thing. They just get real yellowish orange on the part that's in the ear. We go in a few weeks for new molds and I'm going to try the blue ones. We've been getting clear and it just looks gross. I didn't know water was bad for them!
