Keeping sex surprise & preparing for baby
posted 2nd Mar
So, I probably won't start buying things for this baby until I am in my third trimester... So I have a ways to go... But I am wondering what you did as far as clothing if you waited until birth to find out your baby's sex...?
Should I just prepare with all neutral clothing, or only buy a couple outfits and then buy everything after they arrive? Did you buy some of each and return the boy/girl clothes?

I was going to keep the sex a surprise for delivery day but the U/S tech let it slip what I was having What I had decided to do though was buy a couple of outfits for a boy and a couple for a girl and buy gift cards to save the rest of the baby clothes money. I also collected baby clothes from friends that had had babies recently. Before I found out I had tons of girl clothes from my sister n law and a shopping bag full of boy clothes. I found out it was a girl and ended up only needing a couple of things becuase I had so much girl clothes. I planned on having my hubby or best friend go out after baby was born to buy more baby boy clothes with the gift cards if it was a boy. Before this plan I was going to go the neutral route but they are hard to find and not as cute.
