Is it pointless?

Soo about 7 yrs ago i got on birth control and that's when i started gaining weight.. before that my metabolism was very fast and never had to worry about what i ate or had to work out even. And now i am 130 lbs. healthy weight for my height but i look very out of shape it's horrible! And yet again im back on birth control and have been eating cleaner and drinking nothing but water and working out everyday for over a week now and just wondering is it a waste of time to do all this when birth control causes me to gain weight? I feel like its impossible for me to lose this weight.

Depends, would you rather gain the weight from pregnancy or from being on birth control?

No working out and eating right is never a waste of time its good for your body. Maybe switch things up a bit take a spin class or a zumba class.

Pregnancy b/c when i was pregnant with my son i was ALL BABY and after i had him all that weight went bye bye and the past 6 months i gained it all back and more.

that happened to me. i'm normally very thin, i got on the pill and gained a bunch of water weight immediately.
at this point, i changed bc methods. there is no way that's worth it.
i refuse to deal with that smurf. staying in shape is hard enough without some stupid pill working against you.

I would also keep up with what you are doing. I heard weight watchers works VERY well. It will take a little bit before you see results, then others will start to see them.
