I work at a credit union but have never heard of that before.. but every bank/credit union is different. The only thing we charge for is premiere checking accounts (where you get free money orders/cashier checks) and inactive accounts (but that's only a few cents here and there until the account eventually closes). But like I said.. every place is different. I know Bank of America charges out the ass for every little thing and has even been sued multiple times for charging people fees they didn't even know about. I wandered off topic.. sorry I couldn't be more help. 

Are you getting your month statements in the mail? First thing I'd think was that it was due to them getting statements returned. You could call and ask though,.

I have American 1 fcu and they never charge us for that? we also live pay check to pay check so two days tops after payday there is only 5$ in our account I would for sure be calling them and finding out the the hell I would also make them give me that money back as well

no, but I always thought DH just "went paperless." It was his account before we were married, and I was added later so I'm not sure if we are supposed to get statements in the mail. But I think he didn't get the account until after we moved to our current address, so I would think that this address would be the only address his bank would know about.

I'd check with that. Again, it's the only thing I can think of.

$5 in savings or checking? We don't get anything W/D out of the checking from them, only savings.

We only have savings no checking we cant afford thier checking they require you to have 100$ in checking at all times unless u sign up when they run a promtion that you dont. we need every $1 we can get having two kids and me being a stay at home mom because there are no jobs around here for me
