Quick question about pork.
posted 1st Mar
I laid out a pork tenderloin to thaw on top of the stove a little while ago. I do this all the time, let meat partially thaw on the counter and then finish defrosting it in the microwave. Anyways, I told SO to turn the oven on and let it preheat and stick the meat in the fridge. (We have a really old gas stove and it takes a while.) Well like a big dummy he left it laying on the stove and now it's almost room temp. I'm getting ready to put it in the oven anyways, so it should still be okay to eat right?
