got her helmet today! (pics)

dd is a little over 7 months and got her helmet for her flatspot today! its been a rough day but i hope it gets better as she wears it more!

She is beautiful and I love that you got her leopard print. What a little sweetie :-)

how did you deal with everyone asking what it is? its only day one and i know its my own fault for posting them on facebook but i know once i bring her in public people are going to be nosy... its already getting on my nerves. i even explained what and why she wore it on the pictures and people STILL asked...

I only got two sort of rude comments in all the months that I had a helmet baby. One of my cousins messaged me on Facebook and tried to give me "support" for having a disabled baby. I was like.. Umm nope, he just has a flat spot on his head. The other comment was when we were at the mall and this dude yelled "THAT BABY IS WEARING A HELMET!!!" really rudely. Most of the comments I got were positive, people sharing their experiences with the DOC band or just politely asking what is was for. I just told them that he just needs to wear it for a few months to fix a flat spot on his head....no big deal. They're becoming a lot more popular now. I see babies with them all the time.

Im just surprised how open people are about asking... i would never, i might google it when i got home but i would never ask a stranger... i guess thats just me. SO thinks he's funny and has a bunch of made up stories for strangers... like she just got her horns removed... shes aspiring to be a dare devil lmfao... i guess we all deal with things differently and his is through jokes lol
