The second contractions you explained sound like BH. They are totally normal, and it is ok to have them. You did have them with your first pregnancy, you just may not have noticed them. Everyone gets them, it just varies on when they will start feeling them. Keep drinking and try to stay relaxed. Other than staying hydrated, there really isn't anything else you can do to make them go away.

Well what I will say wont help much. Lol. But it does sound like BH contractions. I wouldn't worry about them unless they become horribly close, really bad or you are bleeding or having a weird discharge. With my son, I didn't ever feel BH contractions...the first contractions I had were real contractions and started me into a spiral of PTL for the last two months straight of my pregnancy and had to be on strict bed rest. With my middle child, I noticed them but they weren't horrible. With my last child though....OH MY GOD. I will tell you I have never experienced such horrible BH contractions in my life! I wound up at L&D several times during my pregnancy with her bc the contractions I felt were worse than what I experienced with my son and were close together. Idk what happened though bc every time, it would turn out to be BHC. I always joked my daughter was trouble from the start bc I had hyperemesis, flat out migraines and the worst BHC I have ever experienced. Im a worry wart too but it's my nature to freak out especially about contractions bc I almost didn't go to the hospital with my son when PTL started and I probably would have ended up having him at home had I not went in. And I'm at a higher risk bc I have to have a csection. I wouldnt be able to vaginally have a child if I went into preterm labor. So yes, I freaked out every time with this BHC with Gracelyn. Lol.

This same thing happened to me at 17 weeks. But, when I called my midwife, frantic and worried, she said I'd be fine- no L&D.. no nothing lol. At the time I felt like she was crazy and I was definitely dying. But it was BH, like you said. I also get them sometimes when I stand up after sitting for a bit.

I worry over every little cramp.. everything. Sometimes I'm even embarrassed to call my midwife so I have my mom do it, lol. But, I'd rather worry and everything turn out fine, than to not pay attention and end up with a serious complication that 'could' have been prevented. I oredered my own heart doppler so that when I'm freaking myself out, I can just listen and count the bmp. I'm sure your babies are happy and healthy! When do you find out the sex? Or when will they attempt to look.. lol.

Lol, that's crazy! I haven't heard of that about potatoes. I eat home-made fries a lot.. Now I'm going to be cutting off every not-normal looking part lol. TWO BOYS! Twins will be double the trouble but I think I;d want two boys if I had twins, too.
