Quoting PJ&C:"
Quoting Not tellin:"
Quoting Lucid Dreamer:" ... [snip!] ... people don't say it for religious reasons,i don't believe they should be made to say but they should show respect by standing."
Quoting Not tellin:"
Quoting PJ&C:"
Quoting Not tellin:" ... [snip!] ... they should show respect by standing."
I know a lot of people who skip saying "god" but say the rest."
Quoting FroggysMommy:" I don't even say the pledge to the American flag, I sure as hell wouldn't be saying it to another flag."
Quoting ☠Jenniefahhh:" Okay, so those who object to saying the American Pledge of Allegiance shouldn't be in school? Oh ... [snip!] ... Oh wait, that's right, when people object to saying the American version, we just stop saying it in schools altogether."
Quoting Not tellin:"
Quoting Lucid Dreamer:" I understand how you feel but whether or ... [snip!] ... to say the pledge or not."
Really? It is a disgusting display of disrespect to not say the pledge."I don't disagree with that but there is no law that requires anyone to say the pledge. In America there is both freedom of speech and freedom of expression allowed. Although it can be considered desrepectful to not say the pledge I personally don't want it ever to be a forced issue.
Quoting ☠Jenniefahhh:" Why?"
Quoting Forrest Bondurant &hearts:"
Quoting FroggysMommy:" Because the entire pledge is stupid and ... [snip!] ... it? No. Because it holds no truth. "
Not to mention you can go to jail longer for drugs than for rape"
Quoting Forrest Bondurant &hearts:"
Quoting Not tellin:"
Quoting Lucid Dreamer:" ... [snip!] ... to not say the pledge."
Wouldn't pledging your allegiance to another country be just as disrespectful?"
