Oh the joys of parenting.

I've been peed on, pooped on and puked on. What took the cake though was tonight I noticed LO had some hard earwax so I put a couple drops of olive oil in his ear. An hour later I have him a bath and squirted a little bit of warm water in his ear and a huge chunk of earwax landed on his shoulder... Wasn't expecting that at all.

Oh same here lol when my son was 6 months old he had really bad diarrhea and I went to change his diaper and oh you can only imagine. It went all over my leg lol. Gross. And about the ear wax thing.. you can take a bulb syringe and some warm water with hydrogen peroxide and squirt it in his/hers ears and that will help with wax. Sorry I forgot if you said boy or girl.

Lol I had the same diarrhea issue too. Except I was changing him in a bathroom at a gas station(we were going to Seattle for the weekend) I was horrified. SO laughed his butt of when I came out looking traumatized. I will try the hydrogen peroxide next time

Lawl! When DS was a month or 2 he woke up at around 3am and i was holding him and felt something wet on my leg....he had farted and diarrhea went through his nappy..through his pjs ans onto me. so gross!

How does the olive oil work? I just clean outside his ears. I may give that a try if he will let me.

If the earwax is rock hard the olive oil makes it softer. The warm water after flushes it out.

You are lucky! The diarrhea incident I posted above I almost got poo in my mouth but I dodged it at the last second and it hit my shoulder... Luckily I was wearing a sweater.

I think out uckiest moment was when the nurses set our sons chemo pump on wrong, causing too much to enter him too fast, he was happy and playing and then projectile vomitted all over his dad

SO refused to change LO until he was like 5 months old.. because LO pooped on SO so many times. The poop stained his favorite shirt. haha

PLEASE don't use peroxide in you child's ear. It will harm the sensitive skin, and might cause severe damage like hearing loss.

you shouldnt use it on your own skin either.

Peyton pooped on me like projectile pooped on me at 3 days old. I was like oh wow gross. My mom laughed and laughed. I was like that is disgusting.... little did I know I would have to deal with a lot of disgusting things as a parent, ha.
