Your five month old's eating habits?

So, my son will be five months old soon, and he constantly eats. He wants 8 ounces every 2.5 - 3 hours. Suddenly it's way more than ever. Is this normal? What was/is your five month old eating?

Growth Spurt. DD hit hers around that time and ate like a damn horse. I seriously wondered where she was putting it all.

My son eats 6oz every 3-4 hrs some days he gets a veggie or some ceral and will still eat like that we have been holding off on the foods for now because they irrate his dipar rash from teething.
