Dropped laptop

So I just dropped my laptop when it was open and now the screen is obviously broken, but what is visible is shaking and spinning up and down. Is the laptop toast or would that just be the screen? FML.

I would say the laptop has gone to be with Jesus.

Damn, that sucks...

:-( all my pictures from this past year are on there and not printed out AND videos. Can those be salvaged?

They might can be. I think all you need to do is transfer the harddrive to another laptop.

Mine does that and it is just the screen. I have to get it replaced but don't have $100 to replace it with.

Best buy overcharges. I take my laptop to small time shops. Much more affordable. Unless you have a warantee through them. Then it is bueno.

I did samething, costed like 130. For new screen I just got it back, I broke it like 2 years ago, and just got it fixed, its like brand new and all my pixs and music are just fine, I'm mad it took me so long it was an easy fix

No, we could go to a small shop. Man! :-( so so sad right now!

Ohhhh. I missed that part. Yeah probably smurfed the fan up. I mean you can always ask them if it could be an easy repair. They have to take the bottom off to replace the screen anyways. I have a really awesome repair shop here that will take it off right there just to see if they can fix it which is how I know mine is good. Just need a new screen.
