Since religion was already brought into this.... yes, it would be great to track your child if something bad were to happen. I think it would be a great idea. However, according to the Bible, if you receive the 'mark of the beast', you will not be aloud into Heaven.
I use to be religious, I was a BIG bible thumper. Certain things have happened since then and I lost my faith in many ways. I still wouldn't get the chip.

What is the mark of the beast? Is it defined?

I wouldn't get it.. I'd feel awkward. Maybe for kids and then you can have the option to remove it at a certain age

The mark of the beast is a tattoo of some kind based on the birthmark of the antichrist.. how is that translated to "They're going to put microchips in us!" Also, if the rapture happened (which the bible says will happen before people are given the mark of the beast) microchips will be the last thing on my mind lol
