What do?! (Teething)
posted 28th Feb
DS is almost 4 months, and is teething. No interest in teethers. Is he old enough for baby orajel? What can I do to help him?

Id get him some hylands teething tablets or just give him tylenol.

Orajel might be fine? I used to use those little dissolvable tablets and rub them on my daughter's gums and of course tylenol was always the life saver.

Cold wet washcloth or Tylenol.

yes, you can use baby orajel on him now. Or, get the teething tablets, they would more than likely be around the same area as the orajel would be. (I think they are called "Hylands' or something like that...) they work SO MUCH BETTER than orajel..

Teething tablets worked amazingly well, orajel...not so much.

I used orajel but I keep hearing everyone say its dangerous and can cause this one disorder(cant remember what its called) it has to due to with thinning out their blood somehow.
:/ I used it and my son was fine but I have been second guessing if I should have. Just a pre-warning.
I loved the hylands teething tablets! Simply amazing!

Thank you guys! I will definitely be trying the tablets, and I'll see if a cool washcloth will help for tonight. If all else fails, tylenol.
