134/72 Blood pressure..normal?

i am 30 weeks 4 days pregnant, is my BP normal? the strip they give to test at the hosp is negative though. I asked the nurse she said it is normal.

It's on the high side of normal. But definitely not alarming.

Every person has a different baseline. For example im usually around 90/50 so that would be high for me. But in general 134/72 would not be considered a high bp.

I think for pregnancy it doesn't become alarming until 140/90. You are still below both of those, so I wouldn't worry. Increased blood and bigger body will naturally increase your blood pressure while pregnant, and yes it is a little high for a non pregnant person, but for being pregnant it is totally normal.
I'd just watch your numbers at your check ups and make sure you mention it to your doctor that you are concerned.

ive always been told not to worry until it gets around 140/90. mine has been 138/88-160/100, my original ob said it was ok and normal but my new ob tested for pre eclampsia and it turns out i have it and will be induced this weekend. if you feel like its not normal or something is wrong, ALWAYS get a second opinion. only you know if its right or ok. i felt something was wrong and kept pushing them and pushing them and thank goodness i did!

yeah i didnt ask the nurse but she said its normal. and my doc didnt talk anything about it she checked my leg and said nothing (i assume she was checking for swelling)

with blood pressure there is a pretty wide range of normal it depends where you personally run at with the numbers because for me thats normal but I usually have high blood pressure and had Pre e if you normally are lower its not yet scary but a good sign to makes sure about checking again as you get further along just to be safe but for now your in a very safe range of numbers
