You're not supposed to smoke cigarettes, why would you smoke weed?
quoteposted 28th Feb
I think this should be in debate and discuss....

I don't care as long as they aren't smoking it.

I was seriously considering ingesting it for morning sickness.
But I didn't need it. I'd never smoke it but I have no issues with eating it or anything like that.

I vaporize and eat it.
I smoked and whatever it before I was pregnant for recreational and for medical use.

Yeah I've heard women who have had very bad morning sickness and can't eat either smoke or eat it.

Currently it's a life saver to me. I'm 11weeks and have had debilitating morning sickness. I'm allergic to zofran. Also, I have not smoked it once since finding out I was pregnant. I use concentrates in a vaporizer 2-3 time daily.

Smoking anything is bad, but vaping and eating and drinking and other MJ products are fine IMO. We perscribe classC drugs to pregnant women as is, why not use pot instead of a bunch of man made chemicals?? I dont see the issue.. The only study dont on MJ use in pregnancy actually had quite awesome outcomes... Pot babies had highher IQs and motor skills.

My SIL had such horrible morning sickness that her doctor actually suggested it so that she could eat. Obviously a little bit of weed is better than mommy and baby being malnourished.
Oh and she didn't smoke it, she did the edibles (food items made with THC in them)
quoteposted 28th Feb
On topic, not for me. It's illegal here and I don't have any medicinal need for it.

Quoting Alyssa's mommy [EBFT]:" My SIL had such horrible morning sickness that her doctor actually suggested it so that she could eat. ... [snip!] ... than mommy and baby being malnourished. Oh and she didn't smoke it, she did the edibles (food items made with THC in them)"
This. I went through something similar to this

Honestly, I could care less if a woman is smoking marijuana while pregnant, or if she's firmly against it. It's not my pregnancy and I most likely won't be taking care of her kid if any problems arise because she smoked.
But there isn't any evidence that suggests weed consumption during pregnancy is harmful. In fact, the Dr Dreher study suggests otherwise.

The doctors office I go to tests every woman's urine every single visit to make sure that these women aren't smoking pot(or ingesting it in some other way). So obviously they don't recommend it. And in most parts of the country, last time I checked, marijuana is still ILLEGAL. And for those posting that there have been medical studies that prove that marijuana is Beneficial to your baby, I would like links to these "studies".
